La pale à vulnérabilité réduite comprend, dans sa partie avant, un longeron (1) constitué de deux semelles (2,3) de stratifils unidirectionnels agglomérés par une résine, et logées dans un caisson creux (4). Dans la partie courante de la pale, la coque du caisson creux (4) est un treillis à mailles larges délimitant des alvéoles obturés par des bouchons-fusibles en mousse (23). Dans sa partie arrière, la pale est constituée de caissons (7) de bord de fuite indépendants et juxtaposés, qui sont collés par leur face avant à l'arrière du caisson (4). Application à l'équipement des rotors de giravion et en particulier d'hélicoptères militaires.
