A blank processing device comprises support means for supporting a bloc along a travel path, the blank having an edge region, at least one abutment member positionable in the travel path for engaging the edge region, displacement means for displacing the abutment member from a first location on the travel path to a second location on the travel path to position the blank, the abutment member being moveable by the blank from the travel path to a neutral location off the travel path whit the blank progresses beyond a first predetermined location on the travel path relative to the abutment member.
