A structural bleacher unit for stadium seating that meets all code requirements in respect to capacity for live and dynamic loads, deflection limits, vibration resistance, and durability. Presently used designs include cast-in-place concrete, pre-cast concrete both normal reinforced and pre-stressed, and concrete filled steel pan forms. Most designs have disadvantages, and all are expensive. In the proposed system, the economic advantages of off site pre- casting, and the structural advantages of concrete and cold formed steel in composite action, are combined and fully exploited. Optional formats are available for different support and profile conditions. The individual pre-cast units, after installation are rigidly interconnected to maximize resistance to vibration.
