Abstract of the Disclosure A bleaching detergent composition comprising a surface-active agent, N,N,N',N'-tetraacetyl alkylene diamine having 1-6 carbon atoms in the alkylene group, and sodium perborate monohydrate having the approximate formula of NaBO2.H2O2, wherein the N,N,N',N'-tetraacetyl alkylene diamine is present in the form of granulated particles of a size of about (0.1x3.0 mm)x(0.1x15.0 mm) and comprising: (a) 60-90% by weight of N,N,N',N'-tetraacetyl alkylene diamine, (b) 0-15% by weight of a stabilising agent for persalts selected from the group consisting of ethylene diamine tetraacetic acid and organic phosphonic acids and mixtures thereof, (c) 10-30% by weight of a nonionic surface active compound having a melting point of at least 35°C.
