There is provided a bleaching enzyme capable of generating a bleaching chemical and having a high binding affinity for non-coloured compounds present in stains on fabrics, said non-coloured compounds having a molecular weight of at least 100, preferably of at least 1,000 and more preferably of at least 5,000. Furthermore, there is provided an enzymatic bleaching composition comprising said bleaching enzyme and a surfactant and a process for bleaching stains present of fabrics.

Cette invention a trait à une enzyme de blanchiment capable de générer un réactif de blanchiment et présentant une affinité élevée de fixation à des composés non colorés présents dans des taches maculant des textiles, ces composés non colorés ayant un poids moléculaire d'au moins 100, de préférence d'au moins 1000 et, mieux encore d'au moins 5000. Elle concerne, de surcroît, une composition de blanchiment enzymatique contenant ladite enzyme de blanchiment et un tensioactif, ainsi qu'un procédé de blanchiment des taches maculant des textiles.
