A shaft furnace bleeder valve for controlling a gas outflow from the interior of a pressurized furnace to the ambient atmosphere through an exhaust conduit is proposed. The bleeder valve comprises a valve seat associated with the exhaust conduit, a movable closure member having a central closure surface and a peripheral sealing surface cooperating with the valve seat, the closure surface comprising a convex surface at least in proximity to the sealing surface. The valve further has an actuating mechanism, which is connected to the closure member for moving the closure member between a closed position on the valve seat and an open position distant from the valve seat. According to the invention, the closure member comprises a recurved deflection portion at the periphery of the peripheral sealing surface, the recurved deflection portion comprising a deflection surface inclined against the convex surface by an angle in the range of 30~ to 70~ for imparting to a gas outflow passing between the valve seat and the closure member a velocity component which is opposite to the initial opening movement of the closure member.
La présente invention concerne un robinet de purge de four à cuve pour le contrôle d'un débit de gaz sortant depuis l'intérieur d'un four sous pression vers l'atmosphère ambiante via un conduit d'échappement. Le robinet de purge comporte un siège de robinet associé au conduit d'échappement, un organe d'obturation mobile comprenant une surface d'obturation centrale et une surface d'étanchéité périphérique coopérant avec le siège de robinet, la surface d'obturation présentant une surface convexe au moins à proximité de la surface d'étanchéité. Le robinet comporte également un mécanisme d'actionnement, qui est relié à l'organe d'obturation pour le déplacement de l'organe d'obturation entre une position fermée sur le siège de robinet et une position ouverte éloignée du siège de soupape. Selon l'invention, l'organe d'obturation comporte une partie de déviation incurvée à la périphérie de la surface d'étanchéité périphérique, la partie de déviation incurvée comprenant une surface de déviation inclinée contre la surface convexe par un angle compris entre 30° et 70° pour imprimer au débit de gaz sortant traversant entre le siège de robinet et l'organe d'obturation une composante de vitesse qui est opposée au mouvement d'ouverture initial de l'organe d'obturation.
