ABSTRACT A blending apparatus has a rotor provided with louvers and mixing teeth. The louvers have openings which vary in size and act to convey materials being cut and blended through the disc. The mixing teeth extend from peripheral edges of the rotor. Adjacent teeth vary in angular extension from the edges and in direction of extension from the edges.
