ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Polyethylene blends are disclosed suitable for packaging and have two components, polyethylene or LLDPE and, as the second component, an ethylene butene-l copolymer. A third component may be present in the blends, the third component being an elastomer. The ethylene butene-l copolymer is prepared from a combination of 81 to 94 mole % ethylene and 19 to 6 mole % butene-1.
