ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A blind screw anchor fabricated from one piece of sheet metal that is bent and folded so as to form the component parts of the blind screw anchor. The anchor comprises a first sleeve portion forming a common axis for all component parts of a blind screw anchor. A head piece is integrally connected to the first sleeve by a bent bridge piece and lies in a plane perpendicular to the common axis of the hole provided in the head piece. The second sleeve portion is formed around this central axis and has abutting lengthwise edges that meet so as to complete a cylindrical shape. A plurality of collaps- ible links are spaced symmetrically along this long axis and integrally connected to the first and second sleeve portion. A piece having a tubular shape central opening therein is aligned with the central axis of the compo- nent parts of the screw anchor and has tapped threads therein to threadably engage a screw.
