A blind slat is formed of a cross-linking primer and a catalytic primer. The cross-linking primer and the catalytic primer are melted in a process machine to form a molten mixture. A plurality of slat bodies are formed of the molten mixture by extrusion. A plurality of blind slats are formed of the slat bodies by subjecting the slat bodies to a water cross-linking reaction.
