A screwdriver is a common tool that has been in existence for many years but has one drawback, that when tightening the screw it becomes more difficult with penetration of the screw. It may become so difficult that one may get blisters on their hand if the operation is repeated a number of times. Currently the only option is to get another screwdriver with a large handle or perhaps use a power screwdriver. The screwdriver in this application has a very simple modification that allows additional torque to be placed on the screwdriver with a rapid adjustment to the handle. The main attraction of this modification is that it allows the transformation of any standard screwdriver. The application has merit for all sizes of large and small screwdrivers.
