A block and sleeve assembly is disclosed including a holder block, and a hollow sleeve. In radial cross-section, outer peripheral edges of the shoulder portion of the sleeve have a shape of a first polygon. The holder block and the hollow sleeve include cooperating rotation inhibiting features. For example, the holder block includes a stop projecting forwardly past a plane of the front face and positioned radially offset from a circumference of the opening in the holder block to allow a rearward surface of the shoulder portion of the sleeve to contact the front face of the holder block and to prevent rotation of the hollow sleeve greater than N degrees, N=360/n, where n is the number of sides of the first polygon, by contacting an outer peripheral edge of the shoulder portion with the stop.A sleeve per se and an assembly including a cutting pick are also disclosed.
L'invention concerne un ensemble bloc et manchon comprenant un bloc support et un manchon creux. En coupe radiale, les bords périphériques extérieurs de la partie d'épaulement du manchon présentent la forme d'un premier polygone. Le bloc support et le manchon creux comportent des dispositifs antirotation coopérant l'un avec l'autre. Le bloc support peut comprendre par exemple une butée faisant saillie vers l'avant par rapport à un plan de la face frontale et décalée radialement par rapport à une circonférence de l'ouverture du bloc support pour permettre à une surface arrière de la partie d'épaulement du manchon d'être en contact avec la face frontale du bloc support afin d'empêcher une rotation du manchon creux qui soit supérieure à N degrés, avec N=360/n, n correspondant au nombre de côtés du premier polygone, par mise en contact d'un bord périphérique extérieur de la partie d'épaulement avec la butée. L'invention concerne également un manchon en soi et un ensemble comprenant un pic coupant.
