A block copolymer including one or more segments having an acid radical and one or more another segments practically having no acid radical is disclosed wherein the segment practically having no acid radical includes a structure represented by the following general formula (1): (1) (wherein m is an integer not less than 10; Ar1, Ar2 and Ar3 independently represent a divalent aromatic group which may be substituted by an alkyl group having 1-10 carbon atoms, an alkoxy group having 1-10 carbon atoms, an aryl group having 6-10 carbon atoms, or an aryloxy group having 6-10 carbon atoms; z represents -CO- or -SO2- and each z in the respective segments independently represents -CO- or -SO2-). The block copolymer exhibits excellent performance as a polymer electrolyte for fuel cells or the like.
L'invention concerne un copolymère à blocs comprenant un ou plusieurs segments contenant un radical acide et un ou plusieurs autres segments ne contenant sensiblement pas de radical acide, présentant une structure représentée par la formule générale suivante (1) (dans laquelle m est un entier non inférieur à 10; Ar?1¿, Ar?2¿ et Ar?3¿ représentent indépendamment un groupe aromatique divalent pouvant être substitué par un groupe alkyle comprenant de 1 à 10 atomes de carbone, un groupe alkoxy contenant de 1 à 10 atomes de carbone, un groupe aryle comprenant de 6 à 10 atomes de carbone, ou un groupe aryloxy comprenant de 6 à 10 atomes de carbone; z représente -CO- ou -SO¿2?-, chaque z représentant indépendamment -CO- ou -SO¿2?- dans les segments respectifs).
