ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE This invention relates to a block pattern tire and in particular to an all-weather steel radial tire for truck and bus. The block pattern tire comprises circumferential grooves and extending circumferentially of the tire; lateral grooves, each extending between the circumferential grooves to form blocks therebetween, and having the depth decreasing toward the middle portion of the lateral groove from the circumferential grooves to have the bottom of the lateral groove reached to the surface of the blocks at the middle portion of the lateral groove; and nar- row grooves, each passing through the lateral groove to connect the adjacent circumferential grooves and having the depth as deep as the circumferential grooves and the width enough to close at the time of ground contacting.
