- 1 - Abstract: A blocked isocyanatocarbonyl group-containing polymer which comprises a carbon-carbon backbone chain, at least one blocked isocyanatocarbonyl group and at least one active hydrogen-containing group or an acidic or basic group and has a molecular weight of 1,000 to 100,000, the contents of said blocked isocyanatocarbonyl group and said active hydrogen-containing group or said acidic or basic group being respectively from 1 to 99% by weight and from 0.1 to 90% by weight or from 1 to 90% by weight based on the weight of the polymer. The polymers of the present invention can be used in a variety of resin compositions, for instance, coating compositions, adhesive compositions and the like.
