Abstract of the Disclosure A blocking device for selectively restricting the movement of a multi-position electric switch between predetermined closed positions without restricting the switch's movement to an open non-conducting position. The blocking device includes a restrictive arm which can be quickly and easily connected or disengaged from the switch and further includes a retainer for insuring correct connection of the arm to the switch. The blocking-device also serves as an indicator of the position currently occupied by the switch.
