The invention relates to a closing body (3) which is mounted in a housing (2) in such a way that it can be axially displaced and can be pressed out of an opening position against a valve seat (4) into a closing position. Said closing body (3) is rotationally symmetrical and comprises, on its outer diameter (D1) in relation to its cross-section, two outer wall sections (5, 5') which meet at an angle of less than 180~. In this way, a surrounding interference edge (26) is formed, favouring turbulence in the flow and thus a rapid increase in the dynamic pressure. When the closing body is embodied as a hollow body, a spring action also occurs, damping the closing movement.

L'invention concerne un corps de fermeture (3) monté de façon à pouvoir être déplacé axialement dans un boîtier (2) et pouvant être pressé d'une position d'ouverture contre un siège de clapet (4) dans une position de fermeture. Ce corps de fermeture (3) est conçu de façon symétrique en rotation et présente, sur son diamètre extérieur (D1) par rapport à sa section transversale, deux sections de paroi extérieure (5, 5`) qui se rejoignent en formant un angle inférieur à 180·. Une arête de perturbation périphérique (26), ainsi formée, favorise un tourbillonnement du flux ainsi qu'une augmentation rapide de la pression dynamique. Lorsque ce corps de fermeture est conçu sous la forme d'un corps creux, on obtient également un effet ressort qui amortit le mouvement de fermeture.
