In a padlock the locking pin or shackle and the body of said padlock, are vunerable to being forced open by numerous means. In this invention the locking pin is completely enclosed in two halves of hardened steel which when joined together, form one solid block. This invention is used in conjunction with a metal case, which when installed in the outer face of a door, provides a recess into which the blocklock is installed, leaving it flush with the. outer face of said door thus rendering it virtually impossible to force open.
