A coupling and system for collecting blood or other biological fluids are described. The system includes first (10) and second containers (17) and a coupling (11) for joining the containers. The coupling holds the containers together in two different longitudinal positions, both positions preventing contamination. In a first position, the containers are held so that there is no flow between the containers. In a second position, the containers are held so that flow of blood is permitted between the containers.

La présente invention concerne un raccord et un système permettant de collecter du sang ou d'autres liquides biologiques. Le système comporte un premier récipient (10) et un deuxième récipient (17) ainsi qu'un raccord (11) permettant d'associer les récipients. Le raccord maintient les récipients ensemble dans deux positions longitudinales différentes de façon à éviter une contamination. Dans une première position, les récipients sont maintenus de sorte qu'il n'y ait aucun écoulement entre les récipients. Dans une seconde position, les récipients sont maintenus de sorte que le sang peut circuler entre les récipients.
