La membrane support est constituée essentiellement par un copolymère d'acrylonitrile et d'au moins un monomère ionique ou ionisable. L'additif est un copolymère d'acrylonitrile dont l'un au moins des comonomères comprend le motif polyoxyéthylène ; cet additif peut en outre comprendre un monomère chargé positivement, tel qu'un ammonium quaternaire. Le matériau composite de l'invention peut être utilisé pour le traitement du sang, notamment pour la dialyse et la plasmaphérèse.
