A system for transferring blood product between a blood storage bag (20) and a processing bag (32). The system includes an airtight containment chamber (10) for supporting therein one or more blood storage bags (20). A door (28) is provided for access to the chamber (10) and there is included an airtight fixture (26) that allows tubing from the blood storage bag (20) to exit the chamber (10). A fluid pump (12) is coupled to the containment chamber (10) for establishing either pressure or vacuum within the containment chamber (10). A controller (50) controls the air pump (12) to, in turn, control the transfer of a blood product.
L'invention concerne un système de transfert d'un produit sanguin entre une poche d'entreposage du sang (20) et une poche de traitement (32). Le système comprend un compartiment de confinement (10) étanche à l'air pouvant contenir un ou plusieurs poches d'entreposage du sang (20). Le système présente une porte d'accès (28) au compartiment (10), lequel comprend un accessoire fixe (26) étanche à l'air qui permet à un tuyau souple prolongeant la poche d'entreposage du sang (20) de sortir du compartiment (10). Une pompe (12) est couplée au compartiment de confinement (10) pour y créer une pression ou une dépression.
