The invention is related to a blow and air-conditioning device for an inverted cylinder group in a drying section of a paper machine. The inverted cylinder group includes a lower row of drying cylinders and a corresponding row of leading cylinders or rolls placed above said cylinders in the gaps between them. The inverted cylinder group is provided with single-wire draw so that the heated drying cylinders placed in the lower row in the group, are placed outside the loop of a drying wire and the lead cylinders in the group are placed inside the drying-wire loop. A blow box is fitted in spaces between adjacent leading cylinders and above the drying cylinders. A nozzle of the blow box directs blowings into a wedge-shaped nip space opening in the direction of running of the web, which outlet nip space is defined between the face of the drying cylinder and the run of the web and of the drying wire. The blow box further includes nozzle slots or perforations which direct a set of jets at the web running over the leading cylinders in order to promote evaporation of water out of the web.
L'invention concerne un dispositif de soufflage et de conditionnement d'air pour groupe de rouleaux inclinés dans la partie séchage d'une machine à papier. Le groupe de rouleaux inclinés comprend un rang inférieur de rouleaux sécheurs et un rang correspondant de rouleaux ou de cylindres de tête placés au-dessus des dits rouleaux dans l'espace compris entre eux. Le groupe de rouleaux inclinés comprend une seule toile d'entraînement, de sorte que les rouleaux sécheurs chauffés se trouvant dans le rang inférieur du groupe sont placés à l'extérieur de la boucle d'une toile de séchage et les rouleaux de tête du groupe sont placés à l'intérieur de la boucle de la toile de séchage. Une boîte de soufflage est installée dans les espaces entre les rouleaux de tête adjacents et au-dessus des rouleaux de séchage. Une buse venant de la boîte de soufflage dirige le soufflage vers un espacement en forme de coin dans le sens de marche de la bande, lequel espace est défini entre la face du rouleau sécheur, le tronçon de bande et le tronçon de toile de séchage. La boîte de soufflage comprend en outre des fentes ou des perforations de diffusion qui dirigent un ensemble de jets là où la toile circule par-dessus les rouleaux de tête de manière à favoriser l'évaporation de l'eau à l'extérieur de la toile.
