ABSTRACT The invention provides a blow-moulded drum of thermo- plastic material wherein drum orifices are disposed in trough- shaped recesses of the drum head and chimes having L-shaped cross sections are formed directly out of the drum at locations ad- jacent but spaced from the end faces of the drum, the bottom surfaces of the trough-shaped recesses, which are open towards the upper chimes in the drum head merging smoothly into the horizontal web of said upper chimes.
