The invention relates to dyes of general formula (I), where X and Y = H, Br or Cl, but not simultaneously H, R = F, Cl, Br, COOR1 or CF3, R' = H or F, R1 = C1-C6 alkyl, one of the groups W1and W2 = hydroxy and the other nitro and Y is always ortho to the hydroxy group, wherein compounds in which R = Cl, bonded to the phenyl ring in the position ortho to the NH group and compounds in which W1 = nitro, W2 = hydroxy, Y = H, X = Cl and R = Br bonded to the phenyl ring in the position meta to the NH group are excluded, mixtures of the above with further dyestuffs and the production and use thereof.

L'invention concerne des colorants de formule générale (I), dans laquelle X et Y désignent un hydrogène, un brome ou un chlore, mais pas en même temps un hydrogène, R désigne F, Cl, Br, COOR<SUP>1</SUP> ou CF<SUB>3</SUB>; R' désigne H ou F; R<SUP>1</SUP> désigne un alkyle en C<SUB>1</SUB>-C<SUB>6</SUB> et l'un des restes W<SUP>1</SUP> et W<SUP>2</SUP> désigne un hydroxy, et l'autre, un nitro et Y est toujours en ortho par rapport au groupe hydroxy, exception étant faite des composés dans lesquels R désigne un Cl qui, en position ortho par rapport au groupe NH est lié au noyau phényle, et des composés dans lesquels W<SUP>1</SUP>désigne un nitro, W<SUP>2</SUP> désigne un hydroxy, Y désigne un hydrogène, X désigne un chlore et R désigne un brome qui, en position méta par rapport au groupe NH, est lié au noyau phényle.
