ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The specification describes an apparatus for separating boards into any suitable number of sheets, comprising a board transporting conveyor adapted to receive sheets in succession and having a detour portion on a transporting side thereof passing through a position lower than a transportation plane of the conveyor and stopper means having a member disposed within the detour portion and adapted to protrude therefrom above the trans- portation plane of the conveyor to stop advancement of boards on the conveyor above and preceding the detour portion.
