2106369 9303513 PCTABS00019 According to the present invention, an electrical connector (10) includes a body (18) having first and second portions (20 and 30). The connector (10) also includes a plurality of first contacts (26) situated in the first portion (20) of the body (18). Each of said first contacts (26) includes a first end portion (44) configured to be coupled to a conductive member (46) on a printed circuit board (14) and a second free end portion situated within the first portion (20) of the body (18) to define a movable spring contact surface section (64). The connector (10) further includes a plurality of second contacts (42) situated in the second portion (30) of the body (18). Each of said second contacts (42) includes a first end portion (48) configured to be coupled to a conductive member (49) on the printed circuit board (14) and a second end portion (78) coupled to the second portion (30) of the body (18) to define a fixed contact surface section (76). The connector (10) is configured to mate with an identically shaped second connector (12) coupled to a second printed circuit board (16).
