A boardlock clip is described, for holding a connector (12, Fig. 3) to a circuit board (14) and for electrically grounding them to each other, whichis strong and which assures a reliable solder connection between the clip and a board plating. The clip has a mount (30) for mounting on a connector and a boardlock (32) for insertion into a cylindrical circuit board hole (26), the boardlock including three downwardly extending beams (41 - 43) with lower portions (52) that engage the bottom (56) of the hole walls. Each beam lower portion has a flat middle part (62) and has a pair of edge parts (64, 66) that are bent partially radially outwardly so the edge parts directly engage the bottom of the hole walls, for increased strength and to provide distinct solder locations.The upper portion of each beam has edge parts (92, 94) which are bent radially inwardly to avoid contacting the hole walls while stiffening the beam upper portion against bending.
Attache à loquet de carte permettant la fixation d'un connecteur (fig. 3, repère 12) à une carte imprimée (14), assurant la continuité des masses entre les deux, ayant une grande résistance mécanique et permettant une connexion soudée fiable entre l'attache et le cuivré de la carte. L'attache comprend une monture (30) permettant le montage sur connecteur et un loquet de carte (32) qui doit être inséré dans un trou de carte cylindrique (26) et qui comprend trois tiges (41-43) orientées vers le bas avec des parties inférieures (52) qui entrent en contact avec le bas de la paroi du trou. Chaque partie inférieure de tige a une partie médiane plate (62) et une paire de parties latérales (64, 66) qui sont recourbées partiellement vers l'extérieur, de façon que les parties latérales s'accrochent directement au bas du trou, ce qui augmente la résistance mécanique et constitue des points à souder distincts. La partie supérieure de chaque tige a des parties latérales (92, 94) qui sont recourbées vers l'intérieur pour éviter d'entrer en contact avec la paroi du trou tout en augmentant la rigidité de la partie supérieure de la tige.
