ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention provides a protective device for propeller blades of a boat motor. The device comprises a frame which circumscribes the propeller blades of a boat motor, spaced from their tips, to prevent the propeller blades from hitting an obstruction such as a reef during movement of the boat. Mount means are associated with the frame to secure it in place about the propeller blades. Preferably the frame is constructed in annular fashion and, when in position, is of a width extending from the forward most point of the propeller blades to their rear most point.
