A body scanning equipment includes at least two sets of apparatus located at a front and a rear respectively of a body (2) to be scanned, and each set of apparatus has a scanning device (4), mirrors (5), (6) spaced on opposing sides of the scanning device for directing radiant energy to opposing sides of the body and a pivotable mirror (7) for directing radiant energy alternatively between the scanning device and the first mirror (5) and the second mirror (6); by providing one pair of sets of apparatus a complete 360~ circumference of a body may be scanned. By providing a further pair of sets of apparatus at a different elevation to the first pair of sets, so a complete human body may be scanned. The scanning apparatus is located in a booth (1) for installation in a store and output from the scanning apparatus is, preferably, provided to a garment material cutting apparatus (111).
Un équipement de balayage du corps comprend au moins deux ensembles d'appareil situés sur l'avant et sur l'arrière respectivement d'un corps (2) sur lequel on veut effectuer un balayage, et chaque ensemble d'appareil présente un dispositif de balayage (4), des miroirs (5, 6) espacés sur les côtés opposés du dispositif de balayage afin de diriger une énergie rayonnante sur les côtés opposés du corps, ainsi qu'un miroir pivotant (7) destiné à diriger une énergie rayonnante alternativement entre le dispositif de balayage, le premier miroir (5) et le second miroir (6); ce qui permet à une paire d'ensembles d'appareil d'effectuer un balayage sur un corps sur une circonférence complète à 360·. En disposant une autre paire d'ensembles d'appareil à une élévation différente par rapport à la première paire d'ensembles, on peut ainsi obtenir un balayage complet du corps humain. L'appareil de balayage est situé dans une cabine (1) destinée à être installée dans un magasin et les données en sortie de l'appareil de balayage sont, de préférence, fournies à un appareil (111) de coupe de vêtements.
