The present invention is directed to a body temperature controlling system comprising at least one member receiving a flow of gas from at least one blower in communication with said at least one member, said at least one member directing said flow of gas onto a wearer thereof. In accordance with one aspect, said at least one member is of a suitable size, shape, and/or configuration capable of controlling the wearer's body temperature. In accordance with another aspect, said at least one member is porous.
