The invention relates to symmetrical bolaform compounds comprised of a hydrocarbon chain with C6-C32 and two ends comprising one or more glyceryl units. It also relates to two processes for preparing the said compounds, one from an alpha,omega-alkanediol and the other from an omega-acetylenic alcohol. The bolaform compounds can be used as surfactants in protein encapsulation or extraction.

L'invention concerne des composés bolaformes symétriques constitués d'une chaîne hydrocarbonée en C6-C32 et deux têtes renfermant un motif ou un enchaînement de motifs glycéryles. Elle a également pour objet deux procédés de préparation desdits composés l'un à partir d'un .alpha.,.omega.-alcanediol et l'autre à partir d'un alcool .omega.-acétylénique. Les composés baloformes peuvent être utilisés comme agent tensio-actif d'encapsulation ou d'extraction des protéines.
