ABSTRACT The present invention relates to a railway truck including a side frame and a bolster. The bolster has two ends, each end having two sets of inner and outer bolster gibs. Each set of inner and outer bolster gibs form a pocket on the bolster to contact a side frame column. The preferred clearance from the side frame column to the inner bolster gib is equal to or greater than the distance between the side frame column to the outer bolster gib. -i-
