A valve for regulating a flow of pressurized gas in a torch includes a valve body having a central bore and a connected outlet bore. A valve needle (60) is disposed in the central bore and has an end face (72) facing a valve seat (32) formed in a portion of the central bore. A bonded elastomer seal (90) is loosely disposed between the end face and the valve seat. The valve needle is movable to a closed position wherein the end face compresses the elastomer seal on the valve seat to close the central bore from the outlet bore.
La présente invention concerne une soupape permettant de réguler un flux de gaz comprimé dans un chalumeau, comprenant un corps de soupape pourvu d'un alésage central et un alésage de sortie connecté. Un pointeau de soupape (60) disposé dans l'alésage central possède une surface terminale (72) faisant face à un siège (32) de soupape formé dans une partie de l'alésage central. Un joint (90) en élastomère aggloméré est fixé de manière lâche entre la face terminale et le siège de soupape. Le pointeau de soupape peut se déplacer vers une position de fermeture, la face terminale comprimant le joint en élastomère sur le siège de soupape pour fermer l'alésage central depuis l'alésage de sortie.
