It is common that wheeled vehicles lose traction and become immobile on slippery surfaces such as ice in winter. Traditionally, loose sand has been spread over the slippery section to provide the necessary traction but, for the individual, can be untidy to store and awkward to apply. The invention is a single use environmentally- friendly device consisting of bonded sand in a structured form that allows for clean storage and easy application.
