Abstract of the Disclosure A bonded thermoplastic sheet for packaging purposes (e.g. food packaging) comprises a lamination of a first film of oriented isotactic polypropylene, and a second film which may be of polyethylene, isotactic polypropylene, propylene-rich ethylene-propylene copolymer (block or random), mixtures of polyethylene with polypropylene or propylene-ethylene copolymer or mixtures of polypropylene with propylene-ethylene copolymer. The laminating surface of at least one of the films is a metallized coating having a resistivity of from 1 to 5 Ohm.
