BONDING AGENTS USEFUL FOR COATING PLASTICS, A PROCESS FOR COATING PLASTICS, AND COATED PLASTICS ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention relates to bonding agent compositions useful for improving adhesion and storage stability of coatings for plastics based on one- or two-component binders containing (a) bonding agents that are chemically modified polyolefins having an average molecular weight Mw of from 10,000 to 100,000 g/mol, a chlorine content of from 2.5 to 50% by weight, and a content of nitrogen, oxygen, sulfur and/or silicon in the form of chemically bound functional groups totaling 0 to 15.0% by weight, and (b) 20 to 80% by weight, based on the total of components (a) and (b), of OH-functional hydrophobic esters of (i) polyvalent alcohols and (ii) aliphatic C8-C22 monocarboxylic acids, said esters having hydroxyl numbers in the range of 50 to 600. The present invention also relates to a process for coating plastics with coating agents in which one- or two-component binder is combined with such bonding agent compositions, as well as to coated plastics thus obtained.
