A bone fixation device (1) comprising: A) a first bone implant (2) with at least one through hole (11) having an upper opening (3) with the area A and a lower opening (4) in the case of a bone plate (10) as the first bone implant (2); or an outer opening with the area A and an inner opening in the case of a hollow intramedullary nail as the first bone implant (2); B) at least one second bone implant (5) with a head (6) and a shaft for insertion into one or more of said through holes (11); and C) at least one closing cover (7) for closing said upper opening (3) or outer opening of said through hole (11) for preventing bone and soft tissue ingrowth and / or bacterial invasion into said through hole (11) and into said second bone implant (5) wherein said closing cover (7) is D) removably attachable to said first bone implant (2); and E) dimensioned and shaped in such a way that upon attachment to said first bone implant (2) it is apt to cover at least the entire area A of said upper opening (3) or outer opening and of any of said second bone implants (5) if inserted into said through hole (11).

La présente invention concerne un dispositif de fixation dos (1) comprenant les éléments suivants : A) un premier implant osseux (2) pourvu dau moins un trou traversant (11) qui présente une ouverture supérieure (3) dotée de la zone A et une ouverture inférieure (4) dans le cas dune plaque osseuse (10) en tant que premier implant osseux (2), ou une ouverture externe avec la zone A et une ouverture interne dans le cas dun clou intramédullaire creux en tant que premier implant osseux (2) ; B) au moins un second implant osseux (5) avec une tête (6) et une tige, destiné à être inséré dans un ou plusieurs desdits trous traversants (11) ; et C) au moins un couvercle de fermeture (7) permettant de fermer ladite ouverture supérieure (3) ou ladite ouverture externe dudit trou traversant (11), afin dempêcher la croissance de los et du tissu mou et/ou une invasion bactérienne dans ledit trou traversant (11) et dans ledit second implant osseux (5). Ledit couvercle de fermeture (7) est D) attaché de manière amovible au premier implant osseux (2), et E) possède une dimension et une forme telles que, lors de la fixation audit premier implant osseux (2), ce couvercle est capable de recouvrir au moins lintégralité de la zone A de louverture supérieure (3) ou de louverture externe et nimporte lequel des seconds implants osseux (5) lors de leur insertion dans le trou traversant (11).
