Disclosed is a device for fixing bones comprising a block having a top, bottom and sides, a bone plate associated with the block, and having a bone-contact surface and first and second plate holes passing therethrough, each hole configured and dimensioned for accommodating a fastener, and first and second parallel guide channels associated with the block for accommodating first and second longitudinal carriers, and each having a longitudinal axis lying in a plane which is parallel to the bone-contact surface. An imaginary cylinder defined by the first guide channel does not intersect an imaginary cylinder defined by the first bone plate hole, and an imaginary cylinder defined by the second guide channel intersects an imaginary cylinder defined by the second bone plate hole.
L'invention concerne un dispositif d'ostéosynthèse (20; 30) comportant un bloc (1) et une plaque d'ostéosynthèse (2) qui lui est reliée et présente une surface d'ostéocontact (3) et au moins un trou (4) traversant ladite plaque (2) afin de loger un moyen d'ostéosynthèse. Le bloc (1) comprend un premier canal de guidage (5) et un deuxième canal de guidage (6) qui reçoivent respectivement un support longitudinal, les deux canaux de guidage (5, 6) étant parallèles l'un à l'autre et leurs axes (7, 8) se situant dans un plan parallèle à la surface d'ostéocontact (3). Le cylindre circulaire (9) défini par le premier canal de guidage (5) ne coupe pas les cylindres circulaires (10) définis chacun par les trous (4) de la plaque, tandis que le cylindre circulaire (11) défini par le deuxième canal de guidage (6) coupe les cylindres circulaires (10) définis chacun par les trous (4) de la plaque.
