The invention relates to a bone screw (1) which comprises a shank (3) carrying a screw thread (2), and a front end (4) and a rear end (5). The external diameter "d" or the minor diameter "k" of the screw thread (2), in a center area (L4) of the shank (3), tapers from a larger dimension "d2" or "k2" towards the front end (4) to a smaller dimension "d1" or "k1", whereby "d1" and "k1" are unequal zero. The shank (3) is provided with a concentric, radially expandable sleeve (10). Said sleeve is positioned on the very part of the shank (3) which has the smaller external diameter "d1" or "k1".

L'invention concerne une vis osseuse (1) composée d'un tige (3) portant un filet (2), ainsi qu'une extrémité avant (4) et une extrémité arrière (5). Le diamètre extérieur "d" ou le diamètre le plus petit "k" du filet (2) de la vis, dans une zone médiane (L¿4?) de la tige (3), se rétrécit depuis une dimension supérieure "d2" ou "k2" en direction de l'extrémité avant (4) jusqu'à une dimension inférieure "d1" ou "k1", ces deux dernières valeurs n'étant pas égales à 0. La tige (3) est pourvue d'un manchon concentrique (10) pouvant se dilater dans un sens radial. Ledit manchon est placé sur la partie de la tige (1) présentant le diamètre extérieur "d1" ou "k1" le plus petit.
