This invention is about a kind of book holder for keeping a book open at a suitable view angle to users' eyes. It substantially comprises a book support board or rack, a spring page press arm, and a angle-adjustable back support. Its main characteristics are that the page press arm is located at the middle bottom of the book support board and is able to be turned left or right, hence providing convenience and flexible for turning pages and pressing pages, and a toothed bar is used to lock angle positions of the back support and its teeth are specially designed to make the locking be effective only in single direction. A lamp can also be fixed on the top of the book support board.
