ABSTRACT When having to hold a book to read from, for long periods of time, without the aid of a desk to rest it on, one's hands become cramped and tired, and when one hand must be used to turn a page, make a note in the book or gesture, the book, being held by one hand, can become unstable and awkward to retain in a readable position. A loose-leaf note-book, which has been used in the drawing, is a most difficult book to handle under these conditions. The device I have invented eliminate this problem.
