A device for holding and supporting a book or similar object comprising: a plate (10) having a surface and a plane substantially aligned with said surface, means, attached to the plate, for holding a book in an opened position and securing the book to said plate, and means, attached to the plate, for positioning the plate at an angle relative to a surface which the device is positioned upon, such that a book or similar object may be held in an angled and opened position in a stable manner to aid in reading or referencing the book or similar object by a user.
L'invention porte sur un dispositif de présentation de livres ou d'objets similaires et sur son support comprenant: une plaque à surface plane et un plan sensiblement aligné avec ladite surface, des moyens solidaires de la plaque maintenant le livre ouvert sur la plaque, et des moyens solidaires de la plaque permettant de la positionner en faisant un angle par rapport à la surface où repose le dispositif. Ce dernier permet donc de maintenir stablement un livre ou un objet similaire incliné et ouvert en vue de sa lecture ou de sa consultation.
