A launcher (20) for a flying object, such as a boomerang (21), having a body that includes a plurality of wings (31). The launcher includes a stop (23), against which the object rests at a point (27) on its body. A moving member (25) engages one of the wings of the object so as to impart forward motion thereto, such that the object is propelled forward from the launcher with a rotational moment about the stop. The boomerang is preferably made from a sheet (50) of material which is cut to form the plurality of wings, joined at a vertex (28), wherein one or more of the wings are folded to produce lift flaps (34, 35).

L'invention concerne un dispositif de lancement (20) destiné à un objet volant comportant une pluralité d'ailes (31), tel qu'un boomerang (21). Ce dispositif de lancement comporte une butée (23), contre laquelle l'objet repose en un point (27) de son corps. Un élément mobile (25) sollicite une des ailes de l'objet, de manière à lui imprimer un mouvement en avant et, de cette façon, à le propulser en avant avec un moment de rotation autour de la butée. Le boomerang est de préférence constitué d'une feuille (50) de matière découpée pour former la pluralité d'ailes, qui se réunissent en un sommet (28). Au moins une des ailes est pliée pour créer des volets de sustentation (34, 35).
