D14-107-141 ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A boot according to the present invention comprises a foot portion, a leg portion of water repellant material, the leg portion being tubular and having spaced apart longitudinally extending folds to form a triple material thickness strip, the marginal edge of the lower end of the leg portion being secured to the marginal edge at the upper end of the foot portion, the securement extending across the triple material strip to secure said longitudinaly extending folds at their lower ends, the two outer material thicknesses of said triple material thickness strip being adhered together at a fastener area in the portion thereof that is marginal to the fold line between them, manually releasable securement means for securing said fastener area with respect to the inner material thickness of said triple material thickness strip whereby to fix the circumference of the upper leg portion when the securement means is secured, said manually releasable securement means being releasable to permit the fold line between the inner thickness of said triple material thick- ness strip and the middle thickness of said triple material thick- ness strip to extend at the top edge of the leg to increase the circumference of the upper leg portion for entry of the foot. -8-
