A bottle container (11), wherein the number of effective threads of a thread part (13) provided at the neck part (12) of the bottle container (11) is formed of 2.0 to 2.5 threads, i.e., the thread part (13) is formed so that 2.0 to 2.5 threads are formed at the neck part (12) between an effective thread function start position (13a) and an effective thread function end position (13b) functioning as the thread part (13), the outer diameter of the neck part (12) is 31 to 38 mm, the thickness of the neck part (12) is 0.25 to 0.4 mm, and the thread part (13) having 2.0 to 2.5 effective threads at a thread pitch of 8 threads per inch is formed at the neck part, whereby a cap can be satisfactorily fitted thereto.
