An improved bottle cap and valve assembly are provided in a bottled water station (10), wherein the station (10) includes an actuator probe (26) for engaging a bottle cap (20) on an inverted water bottle (12) installed onto the bottled water station (10). The actuator probe (26) includes a probe head (68) for opening a bottle cap valve member (24), thereby permitting downward water flow from the bottle (12). Dual flow paths formed through the actuator probe (26) permit smooth downward water flow through one flow path, substantially without glugging, to an underlying station reservoir (16) simultaneously with upward air flow through the other flow path from the reservoir (16) to the bottle interior. In the preferred form, the valve member (24) is integrally molded as part of the bottle cap (20) and configured to be severed therefrom upon engagement with the probe head (68). The preferred probe head (26) captures and retains the severed valve member (24) in a position for slide-fit sealing re-engagement with the bottle cap (20) when the bottle (12) is removed from the station (10).

Cette invention concerne un ensemble bouchon et clapet pour poste d'eau embouteillée (10). Ce poste comporte une tige (26) destinée à ouvrir le bouchon (20) d'une bouteille d'eau inversée (12) que l'on y place. La tige (26) comporte une tête (68) servant à ouvrir l'obturateur (24) intégré au bouchon de la bouteille et à permettre ainsi l'écoulement vers le bas de l'eau contenue dans la bouteille (12). La tige (26) comporte deux passages, l'un pour l'écoulement sensiblement silencieux de l'eau vers un réservoir (16) intégré au poste d'eau et l'autre pour la remontée d'air du réservoir (16) à la bouteille (12). Dans la variante privilégiée, l'obturateur (24) est moulé à même le bouchon (20) de la bouteille de telle façon qu'il cède sous l'impact de la tête (68) de la tige (26). La variante privilégiée de cette tête retient l'obturateur (24) dans une position permettant sa réinsertion étanche dans le bouchon (20) de la bouteille (12) lorsqu'elle est enlevée du poste d'eau (10).
