ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention provides a bottle-carrying basket whereof at least two can be inserted in a bottle crate provided with a framework, whereby a basket compartment is present for each bottle, each compartment being fixed in suspended manner to a frame member from which a carrying handle extends in the upward direction, in which onto the upper edge of each basket compartment are shaped a plurality of inwardly inclined guide surfaces.
