ABSTRACT The invention is an end loadable handle container for articles such as bottled beverages with a top wall that is sever- able to remove contents. It is of the end loading type and has a carrying handle strip that is cut from the top wall and the upper portions of opposed side walls so that in use the carrying handle can be raised above the plane of the top wall as end portions of the carrying handle strip move inwardly of the side wall from which they are cut. The top wall of the container is severable to remove contents from the container.
