ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The bottle closure and dispensing valve arrangement comprises a bottle mouth connector having an opening through the connector and a spigot fittable in both a storage and a use position at the opening of the connector. The spigot when in the storage position extends in a first direction inwardly of the connector and when in the use position extends in a second opposite position outwardly of the connector. The spigot comprises a plastic valve housing with a dispensing opening through the housing, a collar trapable in both the storage and the use position between the connector and the bottle mouth to which the connector is fitted, a plastic valve in the dispensing opening and a valve retractor connecting the valve to the valve housing. The valve retractor has a pliant rubber construction which is collapsible under pressure to allow movement of the valve to a dispensing position and has a memory which, upon release of the pressure, moves the valve to a sealing position in the dispensing opening.
