Bottle opener for opening a bottle closed with a screw cap, in particular a wine bottle, wherein the bottle opener comprises an annular contact element (1) having an inside surface (2) for resting against the screw cap, wherein the inside surface (2) delimits a receiving cavity (3) for receiving the screw cap, and the inside surface (2) is delimited by two, preferably circular, edges (4, 4') of the contact element (1) and the diameter (5) of the receiving cavity (3) delimited by the inside surface (2) decreases at least regionally, starting from at least one of the edges (4) in the direction toward the other edge (4"), and a left-handed internal thread (6) is formed on the inside surface.

L'invention concerne un ouvre-bouteille permettant d'ouvrir une bouteille fermée par une capsule à vis, notamment une bouteille de vin, l'ouvre-bouteille présentant un élément de contact (1) annulaire comportant une surface intérieure (2) à appuyer contre la capsule à vis, la surface intérieure (2) limitant une cavité de réception (3) destinée à recevoir la capsule à vis et la surface intérieure (2) étant limitée par deux bords (4, 4'), de préférence circulaires, de l'élément de contact (1) et le diamètre (5) de la cavité de réception (3) limitée par la surface intérieure (2) diminuant au moins en partie d'au moins un des bords (4) en direction de l'autre bord (4') et un taraudage (6) à pas gauche étant formé dans la surface intérieure.
